In the early weeks of 2019, James Brazier donated 27 shell cases engraved by members of the Chinese Labour Corps to In Flanders Fields Museum. As a result, the museum now possesses the largest public collection of Chinese trench art from the First World War. Until 5 January 2020 this collection is the subject of a dossier exhibition.

On the occasion of this temporary exhibition and the publication of an accompanying IFF dossier, you are kindly invited to a talk by Prof. Nicholas J. Saunders (Bristol University):
